Rebecca Maeder online information is limited but her ceramics works are awesome. I have no idea how they’re made, but they look dipped to me over some sort of armature.
I was thinking balloon or seed pod on the inside.
But then they’re open on the bottom and I have no idea – back to square one. Sometimes I wish all artists had blogs about their process but that’d be giving a lot away.
These look like garlic cloves to me, or some internal organ that I know nothing about. I love the smoothness and color.
These pieces to me look like coral pieces. They also look like they might be raku fired in a trash can with that kind of coloration.
Maybe they’re slip cast? I just don’t know. Love them all – the mystery continues!
