Based in Australia, Dinosaur Designs brings together a lot of things I’m into. The company was founded in 1985, the women who founded it were students in art school together and they make pieces that are inspired by nature and its patterns – their most recent collection was on funghi.
The lines encompass jewelry, textiles and homegoods it appears though apparently they started out making clothing and fimo jewelry to sell at a regular market.
I was directed towards this company as their resin bracelets were featured in this month’s InStyle and they seem pretty affordable.
Many of their jewelry items are quite the statement pieces – given my preference for solid colored clothing though they suit my interest in accessorizing very nicely.
Above is one of their textile designs – reminds me of an abstract hook rug.
