Next week, on Tuesday the 23rd, Nest is hosting an event for Proud Mary at the lingerie boutique, Journelle here in New York. I think this is an amazing group of women coming together – the fabulous Claire Chambers who run Journelle, Rebecca Kousky at Nest and Molly and Harper of Proud Mary, the company for which the event is being thrown.
Molly and Harper launched their first line last Fall, in November. They spent time in Guatemala responsibly sourcing the materials for the products they produce from local artisans while giving them design guidance.
The Diamante Collection, above, is a great pattern that I remember most strongly from quilts that hang in my parents house in New Hampshire.
The above pattern, El Sol, is inspired by a traditional gingham, maybe that’s why I like it so much. I struggle to wrap my head around how modern the pattern is, I love every bit of it. If you’re in New York and can come to Journelle on the 23rd at 7 pm please do!
