Where my folks live in New Hampshire there are some fabulous little antiques stores for the peepers who come up every year to see the leaves change colors. My favorite is Red Chair Antiques for its collection of furniture, household items, as well as collectibles, a few beads, ribbons, stamps, vintage bags and nightgowns, odd animal parts and old French linens too.
In addition to the antiques they also make a line of button jewelry, rings, necklaces, earrings and cuff-links, all out vintage buttons. They’re gorgeous.
My favorite above are the middle two.
The silver is very tactiley satisfying as you can see the craftsman’s hand in every piece.
